A beautifully designed compact porro prism binocular, the Vixen 8x32 ZWCF Geoma is a light and brilliant optical performer that's perfect for general use. Its enormous 8.3° field of view surrounds your vision, and it was designed with absolutely no skimping on the optical coatings, materials, or internal baffling.
This is, in fact, much the same genre of binocular as another recently-discontinued Japanese 8x30 porro prism model which was beloved by birders. Old-school porros such as this can't focus terribly close or quick and are quite resistant to weatherproofing-but do provide rich, contrasty wide fields that have a great sense of depth. There's good reason optical purists tolerate their few drawbacks versus ubiquitous roof prism models.
The ZWCF 8x32 has 15mm of eye relief, sufficient for most, and can be attached to a tripod, car window mount, chestpod, or monopod if needed. Provided you don't need waterproofing, the Geoma ZWCF 8x32 makes for an absolutely terrific stadium sports spectator's tool.
