Great news for astrophotographers! The upgraded 5V EAF (Electronic Automatic Focuser) retains the precision and dynamic control of the original version for both planetary and deep-sky imaging — but now operates entirely through a 5V USB connection. This means no more 12V power supply is needed. Simply connect the focuser to your camera, laptop, or ASIAIR PRO using the USB 2.0 port — one cable for both power and data! It’s an ideal solution for streamlined cable management and fewer power outlets.

The EAF’s cover features an innovative decorative pattern inspired by the changes of Airy disk, showing focus accuracy and how the system identifies the optimal focal point.

Two Variants Available

• Standard Version: EAF body, flexible coupling, motor bracket, USB 2.0 cable
• Advanced Version: Includes all Standard components plus hand controller and temperature sensor

You could purchase the standard version first, and then buy other accessories to upgrade in the future.

ZWO EAF Hand Controller (optional)

Providing an easy method add-on for focusing the telescope, the hand controller features IN/OUT buttons, two-speed control, and an ergonomic design made from eco-friendly ABS. It connects via a 3.5mm socket and makes manual focusing quick and intuitive — a perfect companion for the EAF!

ZWO EAF bracket for Takahashi Scope

This bracket is compatible with:

ZWO EAF Bracket for Celestron SCTs (C8, C9.25, C11, C14)

This bracket is designed to work with C8, C9, C11 and C14 the Celestron SCT scopes. You can directly connect it to the scopes without using the feather touch focusers. It is CNC milled from an aircraft graded aluminum block. Quality reliable.
