Description
Astro LRGB Filter Set – Available in 1.25", 36mm & 2"
Unveiling the true colors of the cosmos with LRGB filters
Specially designed for astrophotographers using monochrome cameras, the ToupTek Astro LRGB filters deliver high-contrast, color-accurate images—even under light-polluted skies. Built with professional-grade materials and advanced coatings, these filters help you capture celestial beauty in all its detail and vibrancy. Monochrome astronomy cameras offer exceptional resolution, and when paired with LRGB filters, they allow for full-color imaging with impressive detail and control. Each filter isolates a specific color channel, combining to recreate lifelike color balance across your photos.
Spectrum

- The horizontal axis represents the wavelength of light (unit: nm), and the vertical axis represents light transmittance (unit: %).
Gray line: L channel; Red: R; Green: G; Blue: B - The emission nebula signal bands are mainly concentrated around 656nm (Hα), 500.7nm (OIII), and other bands.
- Light pollution peaks are commonly found near 540nm and 590nm (sodium/mercury lamp bands).
- The transmission regions of the astronomical filters are engineered to avoid these interference bands, ensuring effective signal passage, enhancing contrast, and image purity.
Key Features

- Accurate Wavelength Control for Natural Colors: Each filter is tuned to a precise spectral band to match how the human eye perceives colors in space.
- Luminance (L): 420–690nm – UV/IR cut for sharper contrast
- Red (R): 595–695nm – Captures Hα and SII emission lines
- Green (G): 495–580nm – Blocks sodium/mercury pollution, passes OIII
- Blue (B): 400–510nm – Covers Hβ and OIII emissions
- Superior Optical Quality: Crafted from high-purity quartz glass with >95% light transmittance, these filters ensure excellent clarity, stability, and blue-violet performance.
- Advanced IAD Coating Technology: Ion-Assisted Deposition (IAD) results in dense, uniform coatings that resist wear, corrosion, and environmental damage—built to last.
- Halo-Free Imaging: With a multi-layer coating system including anti-reflection layers and edge blackening, these filters suppress halos and stray light for cleaner, artifact-free images.
- OD≥5.0 Light Cutoff: Blocks unwanted wavelengths with high efficiency to boost image contrast and fidelity.
- Precision Matte Black Edge Coating: Prevents internal reflections and ensures correct orientation—especially on 36mm filters where the telescope-facing side is marked with a black inner edge.
- Multiple Sizes, Broad Compatibility
- 36mm (unmounted): Ideal for APS-C or smaller sensors
- 1.25": For 1-inch and smaller sensors
- 2": Suitable for full-frame and smaller sensors
All models fit standard filter wheels (7-slot for 36mm, 8-slot for 1.25", 5-slot for 2").
