When It All Began
Back in 2003, Dubaitelescope started as a small passion project of a group of mutually passionate night sky enjoyers who couldn’t get enough of the bewilderment called “night sky.” So much so that having a painful neck-stuck became common in the group since no one seemed to be able to avert their eyes from the beauties the darkness of the sky camouflaged.
Gradually, this passion grew the same way the universe grew. Their love became prominent, the same way the very fabric of the cosmos reaches out to the unknown corners in far galaxies.
So, the team decided to expand and bring the joy of night-sky observation to anyone who wants it through eyepieces, lenses, telescopes, binoculars, and basically any tool that magnifies—funny enough, sometimes even the opposite: microscopes.
Today, any of our instruments and tools, regardless of size, structure, or strength, can be used for a night sky entity hunt. Young and old, religious or not, everyone’s invited to unfold the bigger or smaller secrets and objects of this massive dark veil.
And, if you find solace in the tiny microscopic realms, we still have some shiny see-through stuff for you, too.
Dubaitelescope Today
Since the early 2000s, we’ve made great strides in equipping the population with the latest, most robust, and user-friendly astronomy and night-sky observation instruments, tools, and accessories. We wanted to welcome everyone to our astronomical wonderland and share the awe.
We had the pleasure of working with other scientific centers and establishments along the way, who shared our passion and enthusiasm, such as the Sharjah Science Museum, Abu Dhabi’s AlSadeem Astronomy, University of Sharjah, Kalba Mangrove Reserve, Dubai’s Astronomy Assembly, and many other bright-thinking science centers and universities in UAE and neighboring countries.
