Digital Camera
The MAGUS CHD20 Digital Camera features a 2MP sensor, producing realistic Full HD images at 1920x1080px resolution. It offers high light sensitivity, making it suitable for fluorescent light conditions. The camera uses an HDMI interface for direct connection to a TV, monitor, or projector, operating autonomously without a PC. It also includes a USB2.0 interface for PC connection. With a high frame rate of 60fps or 50fps, the camera delivers vivid videos without freezes or delays, ensuring smooth and detailed imaging of moving objects.
Monitor
The MAGUS MCD monitors complement the MAGUS CHD cameras, forming a complete imaging system. Connecting via HDMI, the monitor displays real-time images with a wide viewing angle, high brightness, and good contrast. The 13.3” IPS LCD screen ensures undistorted images even from large angles. The monitor can be installed on a horizontal surface using a folding stand or mounted on a camera or tripod.
Optics
The microscope’s infinity-corrected optics include a vertically positioned trinocular tube for camera mounting. The light beam can be directed to either the eyepieces or the trinocular tube. The binocular head is inclined at 30°, with diopter correction on the left eyepiece for personalized adjustments. The revolving nosepiece has five slots, with four plan achromatic objectives included, leaving one slot for optional objectives.
Illumination
The microscope employs reflected light illumination with a 30W halogen bulb, polarization device, aperture diaphragm, and field diaphragm. The light source and diaphragms can be centered, and a Köhler illumination setup is available. Color filters are included for enhanced imaging.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The unique stand and focusing mechanism allow for the observation of samples of any height. The microscope’s compact size (maximum height of 40cm) fits easily on laboratory furniture. The two-axis stage and coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs ensure smooth and accurate adjustments. Coarse tension adjustment is also available.
Accessories
Optional accessories include long working distance objectives, eyepieces, digital cameras, and calibration slides for enhanced functionality.
