MAGUS Bio D230TL Biological Digital Microscope

Description

The MAGUS Bio D230TL biological microscope is an essential tool for sanitary control laboratories, diagnostic centers, and research facilities. With a trinocular head and LED transmitted light source, it is ideal for observing translucent and transparent samples. The basic configuration supports brightfield observations, and additional accessories enable darkfield, polarized light, and phase contrast microscopy techniques.

Digital Camera

The MAGUS CDF10 digital camera features a 2MP sensor for studying micro-objects using darkfield or brightfield microscopy techniques. Equipped with a SONY Exmor backlit color CMOS sensor, it offers enhanced light sensitivity (2350mV at 1/30s) and superior image quality in low light conditions. It performs optimally with 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives.

This camera allows Full HD 1920x1080px image display on a computer monitor, photo capture, and video recording in various formats. Data transfer is handled via a USB3.0 interface with a 5Gbps speed, ensuring smooth 125fps video at maximum resolution. Ideal for studying moving objects, it is also suitable for lectures and presentations.

The camera can be installed in the trinocular or eyepiece tube using a C-mount adapter with recommended magnification from 0.4x to 0.6x for a wide, distortion-free field of view. Proprietary MAGUS View software, included on an installation disk, is required. Calibration for each objective, using a separately purchased calibration slide, is necessary before use.

Optics

The microscope’s observation tubes rotate 360°, allowing eyepiece adjustment to fit the observer’s height, with a diopter adjustment on the left tube. A vertical tube accommodates a digital camera (not included). The microscope features infinity achromatic objectives, and the nosepiece can hold five objectives simultaneously. One slot is reserved for an additional objective. The interior-oriented revolving nosepiece allows easy viewing of the objectives in the optical path. The magnification ranges from 40x to 1000x, extendable to 1500x, 1600x, or 2000x with additional eyepieces.

Illumination

The 3W LED bulb provides consistent color temperature regardless of brightness adjustments and has a lifespan of 50,000 hours, powered by an AC power supply. The height-adjustable Abbe condenser includes a slot for phase or darkfield sliders, enabling quick technique changes. The field diaphragm facilitates Köhler illumination setup, enhancing image clarity.

Stage and Focusing Mechanism

Specimen movement is smooth and precise, with the mechanical attachment removable for manual scanning. The stage’s design without a positioning rack simplifies operation. Coaxial focusing knobs on both sides of the microscope allow comfortable hand placement on the table. Fine and coarse focusing knobs operate smoothly, with a coarse focusing tension adjustment knob and lock knob included.

Accessories

Expand the MAGUS Bio D230TL microscope’s capabilities with optional accessories, including eyepieces, objectives, darkfield and phase contrast condensers, polarization devices, digital cameras, and calibration slides.
