Digital Camera
The MAGUS CHD20 Digital Camera, featuring a 2MP sensor, captures Full HD images at a resolution of 1920x1080px. Ideal for fluorescent light work, this camera uses R, G, B primary color mosaic filters to minimize dark current and deliver clear images. It connects directly to a TV, monitor, or projector via HDMI for autonomous operation without a PC. The HDMI interface ensures a stable and high-speed transfer rate, while an additional USB2.0 interface allows PC connectivity. The camera records video at 60fps or 50fps, ensuring smooth, lag-free footage. Its high FPS and HDMI bandwidth provide vivid, uninterrupted videos with detailed, movement-free images.
Monitor
MAGUS MCD monitors, when paired with MAGUS CHD cameras, create a comprehensive imaging system for MAGUS microscopes. The HDMI interface ensures real-time image display with wide viewing angles, high brightness, and excellent contrast on a 13.3” IPS LCD screen. The monitor can be mounted horizontally with a folding stand or directly on a camera or tripod.
Optics
The trinocular head features a trinocular tube for camera mounting (camera not included). The light beam can be split in two positions: 100:0 or 0:100, directing light to either the camera or the eyepiece tube. The 30° inclined trinocular head facilitates comfortable long-term observations, with a diopter adjustment ring on the left tube.
The microscope offers magnification from 50x to 600x in its basic configuration, with the option to increase magnification using additional eyepieces. The revolving nosepiece, oriented inward, accommodates up to five objectives—four included and one slot available for additional objectives. Plan achromatic objectives with a long working distance are ideal for brightfield microscopy.
Illumination
The microscope features both transmitted and reflected light illumination systems, each utilizing a 30W adjustable halogen bulb. These bulbs emit a comfortable color temperature suitable for extended work periods. For reflected light observations, built-in polarization devices (analyzer and removable polarizer) are included. Aperture and field diaphragms enable Köhler illumination setup, with color filters provided. Centering of apertures and reflected light source is possible.
The transmitted light system employs a traditional Abbe condenser, adjustable in height and centered. A flip-up lens supports low magnification objectives. Aperture and field diaphragms facilitate the Köhler illumination method.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The stage accommodates specimens up to 20mm in height, moving along two axes for precise positioning. A glass plate is provided for opaque specimens. Smooth and precise coarse and fine focusing mechanisms ensure accurate focus adjustments. Coarse focusing includes a lock knob and tension adjustment. The coaxially positioned focusing knobs on both sides allow for comfortable hand placement during work.

The MAGUS Metal D600 LCD microscope is compatible with additional eyepieces, long working distance objectives, digital cameras, and calibration slides, enhancing its capabilities for diverse research applications.
