Description
The MAGUS Bio D250TL LCD Microscope is a top-tier instrument designed for studying thin sections and smears of biological samples using brightfield microscopy in transmitted light. Equipped with a powerful 3-watt LED light source and infinity plan achromatic objectives, this microscope delivers exceptional clarity and precision. Digital Camera
The MAGUS CHD10 Digital HDMI Camera is a cutting-edge 2MP camera that captures stunning Full HD images at a resolution of 1920x1080px. This autonomous camera operates without the need for a computer or additional software, connecting directly to a TV, monitor, or projector via HDMI for high and stable data transfer. With a recording capability of 60fps, it ensures smooth, vivid videos without freezes or gaps, providing detailed, clear images even for moving objects.
Monitor
MAGUS MCD Monitors complement MAGUS CHD cameras, forming a complete imaging system. The monitors connect via HDMI to display real-time images with excellent clarity. Featuring a 13.3” IPS LCD display, these monitors offer wide viewing angles, high brightness, and good contrast, ensuring distortion-free images even from large angles. They can be set up on a horizontal surface with a folding stand or mounted directly on a camera or tripod.
Optics
The microscope’s trinocular head features two eyepiece tubes for observation and a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera. The 30° inclined tubes can rotate 360°, making it easy to adjust for user comfort. The left tube includes a diopter adjustment ring. A 5-slot revolving nosepiece accommodates four included objectives, with one slot available for an additional objective, allowing magnification from 40x to 1000x in the basic configuration. Additional objectives can further increase the magnification limit.
Illumination
Equipped with a 3W LED illumination system, the microscope ensures bright and even lighting, with a consistent color temperature across brightness levels. The LED has a long operating life of 50,000 hours and is powered by an AC power supply. The adjustable Abbe condenser, along with aperture and field diaphragms, facilitates Köhler illumination. The condenser includes a special slot for darkfield and phase contrast sliders, enabling quick switching between research techniques.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The microscope’s stage lacks a positioning rack, reducing desktop clutter and improving ergonomics. The mechanical attachment for moving samples is removable, useful for manual scanning. Coarse and fine focusing knobs on both sides of the microscope are positioned near the base, allowing users to rest their hands on the table during long sessions. The coarse focusing mechanism includes a lock knob and tension adjustment, ensuring smooth and effortless focus adjustment.
