ZWO Mounting Bracket for Celestron 8" & 9.25" Telescopes (EAF / EAFN / EAF Pro)

This purpose-designed mounting bracket allows you to cleanly and securely attach a ZWO EAF, EAFN, or EAF Pro electronic focuser to Celestron 8" and 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. It creates a solid mechanical link between the telescope’s focusing mechanism and the EAF motor, eliminating flex and unwanted play for smooth, reliable focusing.

The bracket is shaped to match the rear cell of C8 and C9.25 OTAs, so installation is straightforward and stable—no forcing or improvising required. Once installed, your EAF can do what it does best: deliver precise, repeatable focus adjustments down to the micron level. This makes it an ideal upgrade for astrophotographers who want consistent focus throughout long imaging sessions and temperature changes.

If you’re moving your C8 or C9.25 toward automated or remote focusing, this bracket is the key piece that makes the EAF feel like a native part of the telescope.

Important Notes

• Not compatible with Feather Touch focusers
• Rear cell castings must have triangular molding
• Not suitable for older OTAs with flat rear cells
• May have clearance (swing-through) issues on Celestron NexStar Evolution or CPC OTAs

Included Couplers

This bracket is supplied with two motor couplers to ensure compatibility across EAF generations:

• 4 mm coupler – for EAFN and EAF Pro (latest models)
• 5 mm coupler – for the earlier EAF 5V version
