Sky-Watcher M48 T-Ring for Canon EOS EF/EF-S Cameras
The Sky-Watcher M48 T-Ring for Canon EOS EF/EF-S Cameras is designed to connect Canon EOS DSLR cameras to telescopes and imaging accessories equipped with a standard M48 × 0.75 (Wide T) thread. Replacing the camera lens, the T-ring provides a secure and precise interface between the camera body and a compatible field flattener, focal reducer, coma corrector, or other M48-threaded accessory, allowing the telescope to function as the camera's lens. Compared to a standard T2 (M42 × 0.75) T-ring, the larger M48 aperture helps reduce vignetting, making it well suited for large-format astrophotography. Its precision-machined all-metal construction ensures a stable and reliable connection for demanding imaging applications.
Note:M48 rings are used for larger format imaging. These are different than the standard M42 T-Thread and are not suitable for use on Sky-Watcher's Collapsible Dobsonian line. M48 rings are to be used on the Esprit and ProED series when using the dedicated field correctors.
