The optical tube also has a built-in WiFi module that allows you to control the telescope wirelessly using your smartphone or tablet. You can use the SkyPortal app to align the telescope automatically, track celestial objects in real time, take photos and videos, and access other useful features.
The NexStar Evolution mount is a smart alt-azimuth mount that provides precise pointing and tracking capabilities. The mount has a GoTo system that lets you access over 40,000 objects in the Celestron database with just a touch of a button.
