The multi-coated optics further improve light transmission and help reduce unwanted reflections. Combined with a theoretical resolution of 1.53 arcseconds, the telescope can reveal fine details on the Moon and provide clear planetary observations under good conditions.

The included 45° erect-image diagonal produces correctly oriented images, making terrestrial observation intuitive and comfortable. This allows the C90 Mak to function as a spotting scope during the day while remaining capable of astronomical observations at night. Although its narrow 1.3° field of view is not ideal for wide deep-sky surveys, it excels at observing the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and other bright celestial objects that benefit from its long focal length.

Built-in T-adapter threads allow direct connection to compatible DSLR cameras, opening the door to digiscoping and basic lunar photography.
