Description
The MAGUS Bio 250BL microscope is perfect for laboratory work, scientific research, and student education. It excels in observing thin sections and smears of biological samples using transmitted light. Primarily designed for brightfield observation, it also supports darkfield, polarization, and phase contrast techniques with additional accessories.
Optics
Equipped with four infinity plan achromatic objectives, the MAGUS Bio 250BL produces highly detailed images with minimal distortion. The revolver holds up to five objectives, leaving one slot free for additional lenses to extend the magnification range. The interior-oriented revolving nosepiece ensures ease of use.
The adjustable microscope head allows for long, comfortable observation sessions. Eyepiece tubes can be rotated 360° to fit the observer’s height, and the left tube features a diopter adjustment ring. A digital camera can also be mounted in this tube (camera not included).
The microscope offers a magnification range from 40x to 1000x, with the potential to increase the upper limit using additional eyepieces.
Illumination
The 3W LED illuminator provides adjustable brightness without altering color temperature and boasts a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The illumination system requires a 220V power supply.
An Abbe condenser with an aperture diaphragm and a slider slot accommodates either a darkfield or phase slider, enabling quick transitions between research techniques. The inclusion of a field diaphragm allows for Köhler illumination.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The microscope features a slide without a positioning rack, making it easy to operate and space-efficient. Samples are moved using a removable mechanical attachment.
Conveniently located at the bottom, the focusing knobs allow for a relaxed posture during use. The coarse focusing mechanism includes a lock knob and tension adjustment, while the fine focusing knob ensures precise control. Coaxial focusing knobs are positioned on both sides of the microscope body.
