Description
MAGUS Bio 230B Biological Microscope
Description
The MAGUS Bio 230B Biological Microscope is expertly designed for laboratory and scientific research, ideal for observing biological specimens like thin sections or smears. Utilizing the transmitted light microscopy technique (brightfield), this microscope offers high-quality sample analysis. It can be further enhanced with additional accessories for darkfield, polarized light, and phase contrast techniques. The MAGUS Bio 230B is perfect for applications in the pharmaceutical industry, medicine, biotechnology, environmental protection, forensics, and agriculture.
Optics
This microscope features a binocular head with 360° rotation for optimal user adjustment. The left observation tube includes a diopter adjustment ring for precision focusing. The revolving nosepiece, oriented inward, can hold 5 objectives, ensuring the workspace above the stage remains uncluttered. Four achromatic objectives come standard, with an additional slot for optional objectives.
The infinity-corrected optics provide a magnification range from 40x to 1000x, which can be extended to 1500x, 1600x, and 2000x with additional eyepieces. The microscope also supports the attachment of a digital camera (not included) for enhanced documentation and analysis.
Illumination
Equipped with a 30W halogen bulb at its base, the MAGUS Bio 230B delivers warm lighting that reduces eye strain, making it suitable for extended use. The halogen lamp produces bright, high-contrast images compatible with various objectives and microscopy techniques, including darkfield and phase contrast.
The height-adjustable and centering Abbe condenser includes a slot for phase contrast or darkfield sliders, allowing quick transitions between techniques. The field diaphragm enables precise Köhler illumination setup for optimal image clarity.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The stage of the MAGUS Bio 230B is designed without a positioning rack, simplifying operation and enhancing ease of use. A removable mechanical attachment ensures smooth specimen movement across the stage.
Coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs are conveniently located on both sides of the microscope, allowing users to rest their hands comfortably on the table for prolonged sessions. The focusing mechanism is smooth and effortless, featuring a lock knob and tension adjustment for coarse focusing.
Accessories
Enhance the capabilities of the MAGUS Bio 230B Biological Microscope with a range of optional accessories, including additional objectives, eyepieces, phase contrast devices, darkfield condensers, polarizing devices, and digital cameras. These accessories are designed specifically for the MAGUS Bio 230B and are available upon request.
