The Orion Shorty 2X Barlow Lens 1.25" with T-Thread is a compact and versatile accessory designed to double the magnification of 1.25" telescope eyepieces. By placing the Barlow between the telescope and eyepiece, it effectively doubles the focal length of the telescope without requiring a different eyepiece. For example, a 10mm eyepiece used with this Barlow produces the same magnification as a 5mm eyepiece.
Its shorty design makes it convenient for use with a wide range of telescopes while maintaining a compact form factor. The Barlow uses multi-coated optics to provide good light transmission and contrast, making it useful for detailed observations of the Moon, planets, and other bright astronomical objects.
