Description
Celestron 7×50 Oceana Binocularsare designed for marine and all-weather use. They have a rubber covering and are nitrogen-purged to prevent fogging and moisture damage. They also have an illuminated LCD compass, a mil reticle, and a calculator dial for navigation and distance measurement. They have a center focus system for easy adjustment and a tripod mount for stability.
These binoculars have BAK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics that deliver sharp, clear, and high-contrast views. The internal mil reticle can be used to calculate the angle of view, the horizontal angle of view, the vertical angle of view, and the distance of an object. The reticle uses 10 mils for each number and has a vertical and horizontal scale that crosses above the compass degree scale. The calculator dial is located inside one of the tethered lens caps and works with the reticle to determine the distance of an object quickly and easily. These binoculars have an aluminum body and are durable and lightweight.
