Digital Camera
The MAGUS CBF70 professional scientific camera is designed for use with a microscope and various objectives (4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x). This camera allows you to take photographs, shoot videos, organize demonstrations, display images on an external screen, and perform angular and linear measurements of objects under study (calibration required for measurements).
Key Features
- Resolution and Frame Rates: Five modes to choose from:
- 5280x3954px (17fps)
- 3952x3952px (17fps)
- 2640x1976px (56fps)
- 1760x1316px (67fps)
- 584x438px (192fps)
- High-Resolution Photography: Ideal for creating clear, vibrant, and highly detailed images.
- Smooth Video Recording: High frame rate modes prevent jumps and delays, capturing even the slightest movements.
- Superior Sensor: Uses a SONY Exmor 4/3” color backlit CMOS sensor for bright images even in low light. The larger sensor size enhances color depth and clarity.

- External Display Support: Simplifies observations or presentations by displaying the camera image on an external screen.
Optics
- Infinity-Corrected Optics: Free from internal strains, providing authentic, high-contrast, and detailed images.
- Revolving Nosepiece: Five slots centered to the optical axis; four objectives included, with space for an additional objective.
- Trinocular Head: Allows digital camera installation with 100:0 or 0:100 beam splitting. Features a diopter adjustment ring on the left eyepiece tube.
Illumination
- 30W Halogen Bulbs: Provide sufficient brightness for clear images and a comfortable warm emission spectrum for long-term use.
- Köhler Illumination: Enhances resolution and eliminates artifacts and edge darkening.
- Polarization: Available for both transmitted and reflected light. Includes an analyzer and polarizer with adjustable polarization angles.
- Compensators and Bertrand Lens: Increase object contrast and enable conoscopic examinations.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
- Rotatable Stage: Changes sample refraction in polarized light. Includes a scale for rotation angle measurement up to 0.1°.
- Ergonomic Design: Coarse and fine focusing knobs located at the bottom of the stand for a relaxed user posture.
- Adjustable Coarse Tension: Includes a coarse focusing lock and smooth fine focusing mechanism.
