Description
The MAGUS CHD50 Digital Camera is designed for seamless integration with microscopes, offering advanced capabilities for capturing photos and videos, processing results, and conducting precise measurements. With built-in software, it provides a user-friendly experience for various scientific and research applications.
High-Resolution Imaging
Equipped with an 8MP SONY Starvis CMOS sensor, the MAGUS CHD50 delivers exceptional image quality in 4K resolution (3840x2160px). For compatibility with external screens, it can automatically switch to Full HD (1920x1080px). The camera records video at a smooth 30fps, ensuring realistic and detailed visuals without delays, tearing, or blurring, even with moving subjects.
Versatile Connectivity
Featuring HDMI, WLAN, and USB2.0 interfaces, this camera easily connects to computers, TVs, monitors, and projectors. The HDMI connection supports autofocus, providing clear images effortlessly.
Superior Light Sensitivity
The backlit CMOS sensor boasts a light sensitivity of 505mV at a shutter speed of 1/30 second, making it ideal for low-light conditions. The sensor size is 1/1.8”, with a 2.0×2.0μm pixel size. For a wide field of view without distortion, use an adapter with a magnification of 0.5x to 0.75x.
User-Friendly Software
The integrated software enables photo and video editing, as well as measuring the linear and angular dimensions of objects. Calibration for each objective using a calibration slide is required to perform accurate measurements.
Easy Microscope Integration
The camera can be installed in the microscope’s trinocular tube or eyepiece tube using a C-mount adapter. An additional adapter ring is required for fitting into the eyepiece tube.
Additional Devices
To enhance functionality, the camera can be connected to a mouse (via USB) to reduce vibrations, and save data on an SD card or flash drive. Special MAGUS monitors can be directly installed on the camera and integrated with any MAGUS microscope for a complete imaging system.
