The optics are coated with StarBright XLT, which enhances light transmission and contrast. The optical tube is also Fastar compatible, which means you can remove the secondary mirror and attach a third party lens assembly for ultra-fast f/2 imaging.
Celestron CGEM II 925 EdgeHD Telescope is mounted on a sturdy dual fork arm mount, which has upgraded gears and motors for smooth and accurate tracking and pointing. The mount also has an internal GPS and a NexStar+ hand control, which guides you through the simple SkyAlign setup and gives you access to a 40,000+ object database. You can also use the All-Star Polar Alignment and Permanently Programmable Periodic Error Correction features to improve your alignment and tracking accuracy for astrophotography.
