Description
The MAGUS Bio D250T LCD biological microscope is a professional-grade instrument designed for observing biological specimens in transmitted light. Primarily employing the brightfield technique, this microscope is also adaptable for darkfield, polarization, and phase contrast techniques with additional accessories. Ideal for laboratory and research applications in medicine, pharmaceuticals, forensics, agriculture, and various other scientific fields, the MAGUS Bio D250T LCD offers versatility and precision.
Digital Camera
The MAGUS CHD10 digital HDMI camera is equipped with a 2MP sensor, delivering realistic Full HD images at a resolution of 1920x1080px. This autonomous camera does not require a computer connection or additional software installation. It connects directly to a TV, monitor, or projector via an HDMI interface, ensuring a high and stable transfer rate. The camera records video at 60fps, providing vivid, uninterrupted footage without frame gaps. At maximum resolution, the images are detailed, with smooth object movement and no delays.
Monitor
MAGUS MCD monitors complement MAGUS CHD cameras to create a comprehensive imaging system for MAGUS microscopes. The monitor connects to the camera through an HDMI interface, displaying real-time images on an IPS LCD screen with a wide viewing angle, high brightness, and excellent contrast. The 13.3” screen ensures that images are not distorted even from large viewing angles. The monitor can be positioned on a horizontal surface using a folding stand or mounted directly on a camera or tripod.
Optics
The microscope features plan achromatic objectives that provide clear, high-contrast, and detailed images with minimal distortion. With included objectives and eyepieces, magnification ranges from 40x to 1000x, extendable with additional eyepieces. The infinity-corrected optics allow for additional accessories in the optical path.
The trinocular head includes a separate vertical tube for mounting a digital camera and is equipped with 360° rotating tubes. The diopter adjustment on the left tube and the ability to adjust eye relief make it comfortable for any observer. The revolving nosepiece can hold up to five objectives, with four included in the kit and one slot left for additional magnification options.
Illumination
The microscope features a 30W halogen bulb providing bright, warm illumination, which is comfortable for the eyes during long working hours. The brightness is adjustable, and the light is powered by an AC power supply. The centered and height-adjustable Abbe condenser, along with aperture and field diaphragms, allows for Köhler illumination setup. The condenser includes a slot for darkfield or phase contrast sliders, enabling quick switching between research techniques.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism
The stage design improves ergonomics by eliminating the positioning rack, and the mechanical attachment moves the object smoothly. The focusing knobs are located on both sides of the microscope body, close to the base, allowing for comfortable hand positioning during long sessions. The knobs are coaxial, with the coarse focusing mechanism featuring a lock knob and tension adjustment. The focusing mechanism operates smoothly with minimal effort.
Accessories
A wide range of optional accessories are available, including eyepieces, objectives, polarization devices, darkfield condensers, phase contrast devices, calibration slides, and digital cameras.
