MAGUS CBF90 Digital Camera
The MAGUS CBF90 Digital Camera for microscopes is a professional-grade tool designed for capturing high-quality photographs and videos, editing, viewing, saving footage, and organizing demonstrations by displaying images on an external screen. Ideal for use with 20x, 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives in brightfield microscopy.
Video Modes
The MAGUS CBF90 offers two video modes:
- 2448x2048px at 35fps: Ideal for capturing clear, detailed images.
- 1224x1024px at 50fps: Provides smooth, high-frame-rate videos that accurately record sample movements and observed processes.
Sensor
Equipped with a SONY Exmor backlit CMOS sensor, the camera excels in low-light conditions. The large 2/3″ sensor size enhances image quality by deepening colors, eliminating distortion, and expanding the field of view. Using an adapter with a magnification range of 0.7x to 0.9x can further optimize results.
Faster Work
The USB3.0 interface significantly speeds up data transfer, making it ten times faster than the previous generation. This feature is particularly beneficial for classroom demonstrations, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted video playback for the audience.
Installation
The camera can be installed in the microscope’s trinocular tube (requires a C-mount adapter) or the eyepiece tube (requires an adapter and an adapter ring of the appropriate diameter).
