MAGUS CDF10 Digital Camera – Advanced Imaging for Microscopy

The MAGUS CDF10 Digital Camera is designed for studying micro-objects using both darkfield and brightfield microscopy techniques. Featuring a 2MP SONY Exmor backlit color CMOS sensor, this camera delivers superior light sensitivity (2350mV at 1/30s) and enhanced image quality, even in low-light conditions. It is optimized for use with high magnification objectives: 40x, 60x, and 100x.

This camera allows users to display images on a computer monitor in Full HD 1920x1080px resolution, capture photos, and record videos in various formats. The USB3.0 interface ensures rapid data transfer at speeds of 5Gbps. At its highest resolution, the camera records videos at 125fps, providing smooth frame transitions ideal for studying moving objects. This makes it perfect for educational lectures and professional presentations.

Installation is versatile; the MAGUS CDF10 can be mounted in the trinocular tube or the eyepiece tube of a microscope. A C-mount adapter is used for the trinocular tube, with a recommended magnification between 0.4x and 0.6x for a broad, distortion-free field of view. For installation in the eyepiece tube, an additional adapter ring is required to match the tube’s diameter.

To utilize the camera’s full capabilities, proprietary MAGUS View software must be installed. The package includes an installation disk with the necessary drivers and software. Note: Before using the software, calibration for each objective is necessary. A calibration slide, which is not included, must be purchased separately.
