Description

MAGUS Metal D650 Metallurgical Microscope

The MAGUS Metal D650 Metallurgical Microscope features a large stage ideal for photomasks, printed circuit boards, integrated circuits, and other long and wide specimens. It supports brightfield and polarized light observations. This microscope offers high precision focusing with a fine focusing scale value of 0.7µm, making it perfect for high magnification work. It is widely used in industrial research and for teaching engineering students.

Digital Camera

The MAGUS CBF30 Digital Camera allows you to capture photos and videos through the microscope, edit files, create presentations, and perform linear and angular measurements after proper calibration. Designed for brightfield microscopy, it is compatible with 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x objectives. The 6.3MP SONY Exmor backlit color CMOS sensor ensures clear, bright images and videos, even in low-light conditions, with a maximum resolution of 3072x2048px and a frame rate of 59fps.

Optics

The infinity plan achromatic optics deliver sharp, detailed images. The trinocular head is 30° inclined and includes a trinocular tube for digital camera mounting. The two-position beamsplitter (100:0 and 0:100) directs the light beam to either the eyepieces or the camera. The revolving nosepiece can hold five objectives, providing magnification from 50x to 800x. Higher magnifications can be achieved with optional objectives.

Illumination

The reflected light illumination system includes a 30W halogen illuminator with adjustable brightness and Köhler illumination settings. It features a polarization device with a built-in analyzer, a detachable rotating polarizer, and a set of color filters. The illumination system combines three centering elements: light source, aperture, and field diaphragm, ensuring comfortable long-term use without eye fatigue.

Stage and Focusing Mechanism

The 280×270 mm stage moves along two axes within 204mm, accommodating large samples for surface examination. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs are located on both sides of the microscope, with a lock knob and coarse tension adjustment knob for easy focusing. The ergonomic design allows comfortable hand positioning while observing.

Accessories

The MAGUS Metal D650 offers a wide range of compatible accessories, including eyepieces, long working distance objectives, digital cameras, and calibration slides, enhancing the microscope’s capabilities.
