Description
A New Spare ZWO 2" Filter Holder (Gen 2)
The ZWO Gen 2 2″ filter holder is a precision accessory designed to integrate seamlessly with ZWO’s M42, M54, Canon EOS, and Nikon filter drawers—offering flexibility and optical reliability without needing to repurchase the entire drawer unit.
With a solid M48 thread interface, it accommodates standard 2″ mounted filters (50.8 mm diameter, up to ~7.5 mm thick). Its magnetic clamping system ensures quick insertion and removal of filters while maintaining alignment and minimizing tilt. Machined from durable aluminum, it maintains mechanical integrity under field conditions and resists stray light thanks to its low-reflection internal finish.
This Gen 2 holder is not compatible with ZWO’s first-generation filter drawers—only with the newer FD-M42-II, FD-M54-II, EOS, and Nikon drawer models.
