Description

Lunt 100mm LS100MT/B1200R&P Universal OTA – Day & Night Precision

Enjoy everything the Sun has to offer — prominences, surface granulation, active regions, filaments and more seem to leap from our closest star, all captured in the stellar quality performance you expect from a Lunt Telescope.

When the Sun sets, simply remove your hydrogen alpha module, replace your focuser, and let the nighttime in!

The Lunt 100 mm packs a powerful triplet ED APO lens (FPL53 glass) that will guide you across the Milky Way in stunning detail. Now you have a top-of-the-line, extra-low dispersion (ED) nighttime telescope to view planets, stars, the Moon and anything else in between!

A True Universal Telescope

With optional accessories, the LS100MT can be adapted for:

  • CaK solar observations (393.4nm wavelength)
  • White light solar viewing using a Herschel wedge
  • Deep-sky astrophotography with an ED doublet refractor

Included Components

  • 100mm Universal Day & Night Telescope
  • H-alpha with B1200
  • Mounting rings
  • Red Dot Sun Finder
  • 8″ dovetail.
  • Rack and Pinion Focuser

SOLAR WARNING

  • Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
  • Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
  • Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
